Mark Mathias became affiliated with Freund Law Office in 2009. The primary areas of Mark’s practice for the past 25 years have been commercial finance, secured transactions and equipment leasing, banking law and regulation, bankruptcy, debt restructuring and debtor/creditor rights, and estate planning. Before moving to Eau Claire in 2002, Mark practiced law in Detroit and Chicago as in-house counsel for Comerica Bank, Sanwa Business Credit, and Fleet Financial and as a private attorney.
In addition to practicing law, Mark teaches Legal and Regulatory Environment for the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire College of Business. Mark has also taught Survey of U.S. Constitutional Principles for UWEC’s Political Science Department and courses on contract law, business law, and employment law for Chippewa Valley Technical College’s paralegal program. Mark was a contributing author to Successful Model Business Contracts and Agreements and has published book reviews in the Wisconsin Lawyer magazine.
